This was the new model after the classic D4 that we all know and love. The E-Series changed in appearance but also has more power than the older models and a quieter motor. The machine locks into the dolly and has height adjustments on the power nozzle. The hose seals are better. There is a HEPA filter and many more improvements. This is a great upgrade without breaking the bank to get a newer model. If you don't need the two-speed option and are not concerned about all the fancy new features in the latest and greatest, this is a perfect Rainbow for you!

We had to modify the intake to fit properly to the Rainbow wand. We drilled a small hole for the button to latch on the back vs. the front. 

This model is getting harder to refurbish due to the age and availability of parts. Get it before it is gone.  

Once in a while the machine we refurbish has a small flaw in the top of the machine, causing us to have to drill a couple of screws in the top of the machine to secure the top. This doesn't affect the performance of the machine.
